Ms. Africa Nicole Williams, 51, was born in Catawba County on September 7, 1971 to Cecil Maurice Williams and Alice White McKnight. She departed this life March 9, 2023.
She leaves to cherish the memory of her life, two sons, Adward Montriese Williams of Shelby, NC and Troyshawn Williams of Statesville, NC; two daughters, Troyshay Williams and Alaska Williams, both of Statesville, NC; two brothers, Kevin Ussery of Hickory, NC and Michael Clark of Newton, NC; six sisters, Lesley McCombs, Trenda White (Michael Curry) both of Winston Salem, NC, Melody Coats of Durham, NC, Tonya Patterson of Newton, NC, Keedah Williams of Greensboro, NC and Ebony Houck of South Carolina; aunts, Glenda Kinnemore, Susan Black, Pamela Weaver, and Barbara White; a special friend, Timothy Williams; eight grandchildren, Adalius Williams, Shontrese Williams, Tae'Shawn Williams, Treyvione Williams, Riley Rankins, Brennon Rankins, Austin Bethea, Ava Bethea; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relative and friends.
A Memorial Serivce will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary, Statesville. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
