Obituary for Alan Bruce Alexander

John 3:16 " For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have an everlasting life."

His loving grandmother, Mrs. Summer Mae Mattox, also preceded him in death in January 1992.

He leaves to cherish the memory of his life, in addition to his loving mother, Mrs. Aleen Mattox Alexander of Statesville, NC; his daughter, Ms. Shameka Mathis of Statesville, NC; three grandchildren, Elijah Mathis, Aniyah Clark and Davion Mathis; his brothers and sisters, Mr. Theodore Alexander of Philadelphia, PA, Mrs. Diane (William) Brinkley of Philadelphia, PA, Mrs. Susan (Calvin) Jones of Statesville, NC, Ms. Maryanne Alexander of Philadelphia, PA, Mr. David Alexander of Statesville, NC and Mr. Wayne Alexander of Statesville, NC; his uncles and aunts, Mr. Roy R. The call was sudden, the shock severe.
With little thought such grief was near.
Only those who have lost loved ones can tell,
the pain and parting without farewell.
