Obituary for Allie Wilson

John 5:25 " I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live."

Ms. Allie Pearl Wilson, 77, was the daughter of the late William Thomas Wilson and Elsie E. Perry Wilson, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Accordius Health Center, Mooresville, N.C.. She was born in Colerain, N.C., on February 26. 1946.

She attended Colerain High School, and CG White School in Powellville, N.C.. Allie worked the at Holiday Inn, and also worked at Brian Center where she retired after serving as head cook. She attended St. Joseph Baptist Church, locally and Zion Will Baptist Church, Colerain, N.C..

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas Wilson, Jr., Herman Wilson, William Henry Wilson, and Melvin Wilson; sisters, Rose Lee Wilson and Dorene Wilson; grandmother, M. Alice Perry and Corrine Wilson; aunt, Christeen Perry; and a grandchild, Michael Bines, Jr..

Allie leaves to cherish the memory of her life, a son, James Wilson of Statesville; N.C., three daughters, Annette Wilson, Carolyn Ferguson (Bryant), and Angela Wilson (Corey Ivery), all of Statesville; grandchildren, Anthony Sharpe, Jr., Adrian Wilson (Breanna McCrorey), Takiera Wilson, Perry Smith, Jr., Jalisha Wilson, and Devon Wilson, all of Statesville; great grandchildren, Zayvion Hart, Jahzeir Wilson, Morgyn Sharpe, Kinleigh Wilson, Alana Wilson, Kyan Stockton, and Kaslyn Wilson, all of Statesville; one brother, Eugene Wilson (Betty) of Powellsville, NC; a sister-in-law, Bertha Wilson; a special friend, Betty McClelland; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023, at Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary, 2:00 pm, and the burial will follow on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 2321 NC Highway 45 North, Colerain, NC 27924.
