Obituary for Anna Marie Larenzo (Ballard)

Ecclesiastes 3:1-4 “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.”

Mrs. Anna Marie Ballard Larenzo, 69, was born in Houston, Texas on Saturday, October 31, 1953, to Walter Harvey Ballard Sr., and the late Mother Rose Marie Mello Ballard. She departed this life on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at her residence.

Anna Marie attended school in Houston, Texas. She was dedicated in reading and searching God's word faithfully. She was married to the late Roy Lawrence Larenzo and worked in the home as a homemaker, taking care of her beloved family.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lawrence Larenzo; and her stepmother, Mother Katy Lee Ballard.

She leaves to cherish the memory of her life, her father, Walter Harvey Ballard, Sr., of Foley, Alabama; one son, Lawrence Guy (Lori R. Lewis) Larenzo; four brothers, Walter H. Ballard Jr., Clint Ballard, Stoney Ballard, and Danny Ballard; two sisters, Catherine Edwina (Wayne) Ballard Hinton of Portsmouth, Virginia, and Lee'sa Krapish; cousin, Verbie (Richard) Erskine, of Naylor, GA; and a host of nieces, and nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial service will be held in the chapel of Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary, Statesville, N.C. on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 11:00 am. Pastor Wayne Hinton will be presiding over the service.

This will be a time of sharing, reflection and love between family, friends, and loved ones.
