Obituary for Bettie Sue Wynn (Perry)

Mrs.Bettie Sue Perry Wynn of 217 Valley Street, Statesville, N.C. She entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Iredell Memorial Hospital unexpectedly. She was born to the late Mr. & Mrs. Walter B. Perry in Bertie County, N.C. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Wynn, a son, Glenn Lewis Wynn, and three brothers, Ernest Perry, Walter Grant Perry, Sgt. SPC. Calvin Perry, sisters-in-law, Dezzie Reddick, Viola Wynn, Mary Feimster and a niece, Teia Feimster.

She was a 1962 honorary graduate of C.G. White High School in Powellsville, N.C.

She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Elaine Wynn, Lorraine Wynn,and Lynne C. Wynn. all of the home, a son, Michael G. Wynn (Aura) of Lawton, Oklahoma; a sister, Alma G. White of Colerain, NC; five grandchildren, Erika LeShea Wynn of Statesville; Craig Lewis Lawrence, USAF, Wichita Falls, Tx., Kenya Danisa Massaquoi (Joseph) of Greensboro, NC, Michael J Wynn (Wanda) of Ardmore, OK and Marlin J. Wynn of Oklahoma, Ok; six great great grandchild, Bryson J. Wynn, Tate Wynn, Mia Wynn, Joshua Massaquoi, Joshia Massaquoi, and Lionel Wynn; three brothers-in-law, Jimmie Riddick and Roy Wynn, both of Statesville and James Wynn of Plymouth, NC; special friends, Barbara Wynn, Janice Bell and Mae Louis Dalton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Private Services will be held on Monday evening with burial to follow in the Belmont Cemetery on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Members of the family will gather at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home.
