Brittany Shadae Ellison, 34, was born in Iredell County on June 29, 2022, to William David Ellison and Brenda White (William) Dalton. She departed this life on Sunday, October 16, 2022.

Ms. Brittany Shardae Ellison, beloved daughter of Brenda White Dalton and William David Ellison, was born in Iredell County, North Carolina on June 29, 1988. She departed this life in Statesville, North Carolina on October 16, 2022, following a brief illness.

She attended the Iredell County Schools and was employed at the Wal Mart Distribution center, as a general laborer. She was attended Rescue House Church of Mocksville, North Carolina.

She leaves to cherish the memories of her life, one son, Jordan Phipps of Statesville; her parents, William David Ellison of Statesville and Brenda (William) Dalton of Hamptonville; one godchild, PrasJas Reid of Statesville; one brother, Kenneth Holmes of Statesville; two sisters, Nakeysha Ellison and Jaketa (James) Mauney, both of Statesville; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.


A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home, at 1:00 p.m.. Visitation will be from 12:30 - 1:00 p.m. and burial will follow in the Belmont cemetery.
