These are the memories she leaves behind…

Ms. Brittany Yamis Stevenson, beloved daughter of Deanna Lynn Stevenson Bryant and Donald Chambers, was born in Iredell County on March 31, 1994. She peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 15, 2020, in Statesville following an extended illness.
She graduated from West Iredell High School in 2013, and was a volunteer with the Christian Ministry. She loved to do Crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Linda Stevenson, her great grandmother, Helen Holmes and Mary T. Chambers; aunts, Dana (Barry) Caldwell and Curt Wright; a nephew, Eliyjah Parker; and a cousin, Tamara Caldwell.
She leaves to cherish the memory of her life, her mother, Deanna (Doug) Bryant of the home; her father, Donald Chambers of Statesville; her sisters, Whitney Stevenson, Ebony Stevenson, Shanielle Chambers and Quesha Turner, all of Statesville; her brothers, Jarvis (Wendy) Stevenson of Stony Point; Donald Chambers, Jr., Cylus Chambers and Gbaintieen Smith, all of Statesville; her grandmother, Barbara Chambers of Statesville; her aunts, Angela (Carlos) Templeton, Frankie Stevenson, Tracy Brandon, Mary Knox, Peggy Gamble, Vanessa Ellison, Margaret Humlocker, Catherine Turner, and Joanne Tucker; her uncles, John Chambers, Thomas J. Chambers, and Omar Blackwell, all of Statesville and Ricky (Janice) Holmes of Texas; special friends, Tesa Culbreath and Mrs. Connie Donell, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Saturday, March 21, 2020, at The Mary B. Bigham Memorial Chapel of Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home in Statesville, North Carolina. District Elder Christopher Steele will officiate and Pastor Glenn Usry will officiate. Burial will follow in the Belmont Cemetery.

Unfortunately, with the COVID-19 Virus we, at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home, along with other funeral homes across the country, have been issued a mandate to limit the number of family and/or friends at funeral services. You can only enter the funeral with a funeral pass which has been given to the family.
General Viewing will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday and resuming again on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Please continue your prayers and love for the family.
