Condolence: Sometimes gentle words can do so much to soften the intense sadness when a dear loved one dies. God's word acknowledges that our heart can be "broken and crushed." (Ps. 51:17). The faithful man Job asked: “If an able-bodied man dies can he live again?” Job was speaking about waiting in the grave until the time came for God to remember him. He said to God: “You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands”—Job 14:13-15.”
