Obituary for Carolyn Ann Campbell

Ms. Carolyn Ann Campbell, 68, was born in Iredell County on June 16, 1954, to the late Elijah Herman Campbell and Edith Maytroy Fleming. She departed this life on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at her residence.

Carolyn graduated high school in Iredell County and at one time was employed as a machine operator in a manufacturing factory. She loved caring for her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Campbell.

She leaves to cherish the memory of her life, two sons, Ollie James McDonald, and Carlos Antione Campbell; two daughters, Tracy Nicole McDonald, and Sheila Shonta Campbell; granddaughter that she raised as her own, Shaquira McDonald; one brother, Ray Hardy; two sisters, Edith (Ricky) Ramsey, and Sheila Claudette Campbell; best friend, Betty Jean Cherry; thirty-seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren including Brandee Sherill McDonald, Candee Terrell McDonald, Princeton D. T. McDonald, Dominique Keaton, Ollie James Jr., Elizabeth McDonald, Josia Robbinette, Carolyn McDonald, Malcolm McDonald, Isaiah Eugene Norman, Carlos Xavier Norman, and Aundre Jeremiah Norman; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
