Obituary

Romans 14: 8 " For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord; whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lords."

Weeping may endure for a night,
But Joy comes in the morning.

Mr. Courtney Deshawn Bradshaw, 39, of 339 West Raleigh Avenue, Statesville, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020. He was born in Iredell County on December 5, 1980, and was the son of Bonita Lavern Bradshaw and the late Leon Lindsay.
He was employed at Pratt Industries, Statesville N.C., where he worked in the Sustainable Packaging and Display Solutions department. Courtney will truly be missed. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis Bradshaw and Mable Louise Bradshaw, a sister, Kenita Michelle Bradshaw and a brother, Leon Tremain Brawshaw.
Courtney leaves to cherish the memories of his life, his beloved mother, Bonita Lavern Bradshaw of Troutman; his daughter, Cor'Alizuh Bradshaw of Statesville; six sisters, Sherrika Bradshaw (Raziel) Allison of Statesville, Shanita Dalton of Winston Salem, Kira Ticole Dalton of Salisbury, Latoya Smyre and Dante Conner, both of Statesville, and Angie Williams of Washington, DC; four brothers, Santwan (LaMonica) Dalton of New Port News, Virginia, Deleon Carshar Dalton and Jamel Conner, all of Statesville, and Michael Conner of Georgia; a loving and devoted friend, Lisa Hunter of the home; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

There is an open gate at the end of the road
Through which each must go alone
And there in a light we cannot see
Our Father claims His own
Beyond the gate our loved one
Find happiness and rest
And there is comfort in the thought
That a loving God knows best.
