Obituary for Howard LaShon "Noochie" Coleman II

John 14:1-3 "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Mr. Howard LaShon “Noochie” Coleman II, 20, was born in Iredell County on Saturday, March 16, 2002, and was the son of Howard LaShon Coleman I and Crystal Shea Moore. He departed this life unexpectedly on Saturday, October 1, 2022, in Wilmington, N.C.

Howard graduated from Statesville High School in 2020 and was a junior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He had a passion for basketball and loved mentoring other people. He enjoyed football and his favorite team was the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a a very energeetic and loving young man. He was a lifelong member of Cameron Presbyterian Church. Prior to his death he was employed by Jimmy Johns. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Howard Coleman, a aunt, Pamela Rankin, an uncle, Cecil Moore and a nephew, Kiyan Alexander.

In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish the memory of his life, two brothers, Toddrick Rosby of the home and Elisha Coleman; three sisters, ShaMyia Coleman, Bla’zhah Coleman, and Evaya Kerley; his grandparents, Bobby Moore, Helen Moore and Doris Coleman; his aunts, Padge Coleman, Sasha Coleman and Rhonda Moore; his uncles, Travis ( Tonya) Moore, Robert (Toni) White, Gary (Dorothy) Sharpe, Jeffery Stevenson, Bradley Stevenson, Billy Stevenson and Ray Rankin; his God mother, Tanya Stockton; his great aunt, Elizabth Moore; special aunts, Tosura Camp, Kisha Hall and April Wyatt; a niece, Mylia Alexander; a nephew, Kiylan Alexander; his mentoring and supportive parents, Todd Rosby and Jimmy and Angie Mattingly; and a host of other family members, church family, cousins, and friends, including best friends, Fred, Sal, Evan, Dawson, Leroy, Gabriel, Hasseen, Lekia, Aaliyah, Labron, Connor, Bryson, Altereek, Bobby, Aniyah, Sharrod, Jaylin, Brandon, Colbe, Jayden, Martin and Ameir.



A Celebration of Life will be held at Cameron Presbyterian Church, Statesville, on Sunday, October 9, 2022. at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m.at the church.
