Obituary

A smile for all, a heart of gold
One of the finest this world would hold
Never selfish, always kind
These are the memories she leaves behind…

Ms. Jennifer Lynette Leach, 51, was born in Iredell County on October 28, 1968. She was the daughter of Lewis Bailey and Patricia Ann Leach Ellis. She departed this life on Monday, September 7, 2020, at Iredell Memorial Hospital unexpectedly.

She was a graduate of Mooresville Senior High School and attended Mitchell Community College.

In addition to her father, Lewis Bailey and her mother, Patricia Ann Leach Ellis, she leaves to cherish the memory of her life her grandmother, Betty Louise Leach of Troutman; one brother, Reginald Ellis of Galax, Virginia; four sisters, Cynthia Leach of Bronx, New York, Angela Leach of Mooresville, Dianne Reddick and Collette Feimster, both of Statesville; her special friend, Cheryl Ramseur of Statesville; uncle, Pastor Walter (Prophetess Beverly) Leach of Troutman; her aunts, Evangelist Clara Rucker and Bernice (Samuel) Sharpe, both of Troutman, Louise Bailey, Peggy Norman and Betty Ivory, all of Statesville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

It seems so unreal that you are gone
When just the other day
You walked and talked and laughed with us
Then suddenly slipped away
Your peacefully smile, your joyful laugh
How sweet the memory still
Your parting left an aching void
Only God’s love can fill.

General Public Viewing will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home. Visit the Book of Memories for Jennifer at www.rutledgeandbigham.com.
