Obituary for Jerry Hill

Now ministering in God’s Heavenly Choir, Mr. Jerry Dean Hill Jr., 53, of Mooresville, NC entered into eternal rest Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, Mooresville, NC. A native of Spartanburg, SC, Jerry Dean was born January 17, 1967 to Jerry Dean Hill, Sr., and the late Mary Mayo Hill. He was a devoted member of Christian Outreach of the Piedmont in Statesville, NC and served faithfully for many years as Minister of Music. He had a love for music and will be dearly missed by many who loved him.
In addition to his mother, Mary, Jerry Dean was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Rogers and paternal grandparents, George and Myrtle Hill.
Along with his loving wife, Stephanie Elizabeth Hill, he leaves to cherish fond and loving memories: His sons, Quenton Hill and Virgil Davis both of Mooresville, NC and Johnathan (Eden) Fields; his daughters, Dene Ulmer of Atlanta, GA, Nyarah Davis of Mooresville, NC and Jordan Thompson of Raleigh, NC; four brothers, Terrance (Erica) Jackson of Spartanburg, SC, Rexx (Shakeysa) Hill of New Jersey, Fred ‘Pooh’ (Phyllis) Hill of Lyman, SC, and Martin “King” (Tracey) Pringle of Greer, SC; three sisters, Candace (Adrian) Cathcart of Spartanburg, SC, Tracie (Darrell) Harper of Simpsonville, SC and Paula (Keith) Finnie of Piedmont, SC; five grandchildren, Nevaeh Hill and Raenah Ulmer both of North Carolina, Johniah T. Fields, Johnathan Seven Fields and Tyrolese Darby all of Columbia, SC; his stepmother Frances Hill of Simpsonville, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives; and friends.
Sacred arrangements have been entrusted to SERENITY-MURRAY MORTUARY.
