Mr. Joe Rufus Teasley, Jr., 67, passed away at Rowan Medical Hospital, on Wednesday, November 25, 2020. He was born in Cherokee County, Georgia on March 22, 1953, and was the son of the late Rufus Teasley and Sula Ethel Bell Bowman Leach.
At the time of his death he was employed by Chewy Warehouse. He was a loving father and friend.
He leaves to cherish the memory of his life, his daughter, Bridgett Teasley of North Wilkesboro; Omar Witherspoon (Beverly Thomas) Aki Witherspoon (Catrese); fifteen grandchildren; his siblings, Elizabeth (Louis) Young, Linda Teasley, Peggy Dianne Teasley, Nettie Ruth Teasley, Patricia (Willie) Beauford, Gwendolyn Hill, Wanda Teasley, Kenneth Teasley, Freddie Teasley, Roy Teasley, Michael (Debra) Teasley, and Kelvin Teasley, all of Statesville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. Rutledge and BIgham is serving the Teasley family.
