Mr. John Wesley Allison
Mr. John Wesley Allison, was born in Iredell County on July 15, 1925, and was the son of the late John and Ella Maxwell Allison. He departed this life on February 6, 2021.
He attended Unity and Morningside Schools and retired from Hoechst Celenese as a Machine Operator. He served with the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He was a member of the Earnest Morgan American Legion Post #217. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Stevenson Allison, a sister, Mary Alice McCrary, a brother, James Edward Allison and a sister-in-law, Gwendolyn Stevenson.
He leaves to cherish the memory of his life, two sons, Steven W. Allison and Charles D. Stevenson; two grrandchildren, Tanya C. Stevenson and Steven J. ALlison; six great grandchildren, Kiana Stevenson, Taimigeo Stevenson, Steven O. Allison, Parris Allison, Mason Allison and Jayden Allison; several niece and Nephews, Elder Ruby Baker, Robert James (Annie) Archie, Cynthia (Westley) Mack, William D. (Shirley) Stevenson, Cheryl Stevenson, Cathey Charles) Bibbs and Stacy )Bernie_ Grant; and a host of other relatives and friends.
