Obituary for Keith Clark

Revelation 21:3-4 " And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and thre shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Mr. Keith Bernard Clark, 55, affectionately called “Shug”, of 941 Old Mocksville Road, passed away on June 3, 2021 at Gordon’s Hospice House following an extended illness. He was born in Iredell County on August 7, 1965 to Danny Reid and the late Henrietta Clark Alexander.
He was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church and St. Peter Church. He was a machine operator at NGK Ceramics Company prior to his illness.
In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents James and Ida Clark, his paternal grandparents Helen McClelland Houpe and Samuel Reid.
He leaves to cherish the memory of his life, his parents Danny (Margaret) Reid and Charlie Alexander two daughters, Lashonda Lawrence and Shawanda Lawrence both of Statesville; two god children, Trina Eckles and Joseph Mauney III; siblings, Danette Reid, Markita Reid, Bradley Tracy, Frankie, and Christopher Alexander; grandkids, Janhya and Christopher Winford Brooklyn, Kamari Lawrence, Tailyn Allison, Tinsley Allison and Ava-Reese Miller; paternal Great Aunt Virginia McClelland and maternal Aunt Dorothy Mintz; his close friends, Vincent, Al, Todd, Linwood and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Thursday June 10, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary. Reverend Timothy Bates will officiate and burial will follow in the New Center Church cemetery.
