Mrs. Mary Ann Veronica Frett Emanuel-White, beloved daughter of the late Thomas Frett and Roselphine George, was born on November 21, 1932 in Tortola British Virgin Islands. She departed this life at her home on Saturday, February 19, 2022 following an extended illness.

She was a CNA who cared for many people. She will be missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tennyson White; brothers, Rufus, Osmond, Lawrence and Edwardo, Ernest Frett and Louis Gumbs, Sr.; sisters, Janet Frett-Thomas, Leonardo Frett-Freeman. and a nephew, Lambert Fleming

She leaves to cherish the memory of her life her children, son: Dorn Emanuel, adopted sons: Antonio O. Emanuel and Andrew White; daughters: Marva M. Emanuel and Merlin Emanuel-Christian; her son-in-law, Manuel Christian; her sister, Ruth Frett-Petersen; grandchildren: Antonio O. Emanuel, Ashanti Emanuel, Malaika Hermon-Roper Dr, Carisa M. Todman-Sutherland, Christopher M. Todman, Ronald Emanuel, Ryan Emanuel, Monifa Bert-Saunders, Mendek Menlarayzz and Jelani Smith; great grandchildren, Dwight Mulley, Jr., Teanna Auqustin, Vosloi Emanuel, Lovanta Emanuel, Omari Forde, Omal Forde, Ocoi Roper, Okeem Roper, Zion Emanuel, Indigo Emanuel, Rashwn And Ronae Emanuel; nieces, Idhalia Bess, Adina Robsatt-Penn, Arlene Stout-Thomas, Iellene Stout, Lucia Francis, Maria Francis, Mona Freeman-Lindquist, Myrtle Freeman, Florinell Frett-Joseph, Ann Cheryl Frett-Gardner; nephews, , Gilbert Fleming, Cedric Short, Dillard Freeman, Ted Rabsatt, Erall Robsatt, Lois Frett, Ortis Ottley, Ashley, Allen, Alford, Fred and Orford Freeman, Kenneth L. Frett, Enard Frett, Sr. and Eral J. Frett; and a host of cousins, other realtives and friends.


Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home. Bishop Wilford Walls will officiate. Mrs. Emanuel-White will remain at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home where members of the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., but will assemble at the residence at other times.
