Mr. Rodney Willis Sharpe, son of the late Paul Sharpe and Mary Ann Carpenter, was born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 9, 1959. He departed this life on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
He was a graduate of Meade High School and was pervious employed by Mayflower Moving Company and the Waffle House. Rodney loved his family and friends. He loved to cook and loved loved his Washington Redskins.
He leaves to cherish the memory of his life, daughters, Latoya Rucker, and Shanita (Kevin) Peet, both of Statesville, Nicole Rucker of Claremont, April Rucker of St. Louis, MO and Shaona Graves of Rochester, NY; three brothers, Paul E. Sharpe of Columbia, MD. Gary D. (Dorothy) Sharpe of Las Vegas, NV, and Rickie Sharpe of Columbia, MD; a sister, Jeanette Sharpe of Statesville; an aunt, Irene Sharpe of Olin; a host of nieces nephews including a special nephew, Dion Sharpe, cousins other relatives and friends including a special friends, Ricky “Kuddy” Lackey and Charles “Bootsy” Blackwell.
