Obituary for Ronnie Percy Alexander

Mr. Ronnie Alexander,70, was born in Statesville, NC, on August 22, 1952, to the late Clyde Julius Alexander and Louvenia Dianna Powell Alexander. He entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 13, 2023.

Ronnie graduated from Statesville High School with the Class of 1970 and also attended Catawba Valley Technical College. He was a devoted member of the United House of Prayer, Statesville, NC. He served with the United States Army and was honorably discharged.

He leaves to cherish the memory of his life, one brother, Clyde Alexander of Greensboro, NC; cousins, Sylania Riley, Tewanna Peterson, Jeannie McNair, Phyllis, Mahmud, Darryl Alexander, Vonda Feimster, Sandra Woods, and Larry Woods; great nieces and nephews, Anthony Dawkins Alexander of Statesville, NC, Deshon Alexander of Greensboro, NC, Cherria Alexander of Statesville, NC, David Alexander, and Michael Alexander, both of Statesville, NC; great-great nieces and nephews, Carter Turner Alexander of Statesville, NC, Kamden Bennett Alexander, and Lyndon Turner Alexander both of Statesville, NC; and a host of other relatives, church family, and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 12:00 pm at Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary, Statesville, NC. Reverend Michael McClain will be officiating the service. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at the funeral home and burial will follow in the Iredell Memorial Park Cemetery.
