Obituary for Ruthie Lee Jordan

Ms. Ruthie Lee Jordan, was born in Queen’s, New York on August 22, 1961, and was the daughter of the late Leroy Jordan and Ola Mae Roseboro. She departed this life on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at her home following an extended illness. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Jordan; a brother, Corey Alexander; her paternal grandparents, Mose and Maggie Roseboro; and a nephew, Rattien Knowles.

She attended High School and prior to her illness, she was a factory worker at Cannon Mills for 15 years and International Paper for 15 years. She was a dedicated hard worker.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and friend.
She leaves to cherish the memory of her life two daughters, Latreena Jordan and Daniene (Wesley) Jordan both of Statesville; four grandchildren; Messiah Robinson, Madison Bryant, Corddarious Neal and Corriah Neal; four siblings, Janice Jordan of Statesville; Cheryl Wimms of New York, and Angela Wimms and Curtis (Gaysho) Alexander, both of Georgia; a bonus daughter, Denise Polk, bonus grandchildren, Tarez Hamilton, Dynasty Hamilton and Yazmen Roseboro; a special niece, Tyshema Jordan that provided special care for her during her illness; a special friend, Lorenzo Morrison; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Saturday, April 3rd, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Christian Outreach. Pastor Tewanna Myers will officiate and Pastor Sadie Campbell will eulogize with burial to follow in the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
