Obituary for Tyler Leotis Shives-Wilson

Tyler Leotis Wilson ,66, entered into eternal rest on November 17, 2022, in Pittsburg, Pa., at his residence. He was born in Iredell County on September 28, 1956, to the late Jennie Shives Wilson. He later moved to New York, at an early age where he received his education and graduated from Taft High School.

Lee as he was affectionately known by his family and friends later moved to Pittsburg, Pa., and was employed for 15 years at the Federal Building.

He leaves to cherish the memories of his life one brother, David Jones, Jr., of New York City; three sisters, Clara Shives Pollard, of Pittsburg, Pa., Pauline Kitty Shives (Billy) Watts, of Statesville, and Belina Faye Shives (Phillip) Hamilton, of Concord; one uncle, Robert Simpson, of Pittsburg, Pa.; one aunt, Emma Simpson, of Pittsburg, Pa; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

A Memorial and Homegoing service will be held at Rutledge and Bigham on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary at 11:00 am with Reverend Barbara McCollum doing the eulogy.
